During our time providing marketing services to businesses, there are times where organisations provide us with confidential data in order for us to perform specific tasks e.g. to upload a contact list to an email platform. Information provided is solely used for the implicit purpose specified by the client.
There are times when we use statistical data gathered from our clients’ websites and social media pages to enable us to analyse the success of campaigns and to look for trends and opportunities. This research supports decision-making on behalf of our clients.
Feedback surveys:
We may contact individuals from time to time for feedback on the services we are providing. This feedback may be requested within the application or we may at times use a 3rd party survey platform. These 3rd party platforms include Google Forms or TypeForm.
Testimonials/case studies:
We will ask for implicit consent before publishing your business name or logo on any marketing materials, such as but not limited to, our website, email newsletters and advertisements. If you would like to keep our working partnership confidential then we will of course be happy to oblige.

For example, when outsourcing to freelancers/agencies, we will only ever share publicly-available information, unless otherwise agreed.

Third-party data processors:
To perform our business operations we use a number of trusted service providers. We only transfer information that is required for the services offered.
Quickbooks: Kate Oakley Marketing uses Quickbooks a third-party service provider for sending invoices. The only information stored on here is your account contacts name, email address and company name. Billing history is stored.
Mailchimp: Kate Oakley Marketing uses Mailchimp to send email newsletters. The only information stored on here is your name, company name and email address.
G-Suite: We store documents on Google Drive. We use Google Docs, Sheets and Forms to enable us to perform our service to clients. We use G-Suite for emails.
Asana: We use Asana to manage projects and plan our workload. We don’t share confidential data on this platform.
